Here are the key points of the UGC Guidelines for Undergraduate Internship: 1. Duration and Credit Allocation Internships are mandatory and should be a part of the undergraduate curriculum. Minimum duration: 8–10 weeks (approx. 2–3 months). Internships carry 2 to 4 credits, depending on the duration and effort. 2. Types of Internships Research internships with faculty or institutions.
