Quantum Consciousness Model

The Quantum Consciousness Model, developed by Debdulal Dutta Roy (2024), is an innovative framework in Health Psychology rooted in Rabindrik Psychotherapy. The model explains how human health experience emerges from the continuous flow and transformation of health images—conceptualized as quanta of consciousness—through three interconnected layers of consciousness: Murta, Raag, and Saraswat. These health images behave like quantum particles, interacting, influencing, and entangling with one another to generate holistic health or illness experiences.

1. Health Images as Quanta of Consciousness

Health experiences (pain, symptoms, emotions, beliefs, expectations) are represented as health images. These images are not static; they move, vibrate, interact, and reorganize. The model treats them as quantum entities, capable of:Superposition (multiple meanings at once),Entanglement (one image instantly influencing another),
State change (transformation as they move through conscious layers),This is the central innovation of the model.

2. Three Layers of Consciousness
a) Murta Layer — Concrete Sensory Awareness: Represents physical, sensory, and tangible experiences. Here, health images arise from bodily sensations, medical reports, symptoms, and habits.Images are dense, structured, and stimulus-bound.
Example: A sugar reading of 300 creates a raw image of danger.
Role:
Murta is the entry point of health consciousness.

3. Raag Layer — Emotional & Affective Awareness: Health images from Murta undergo emotional transformation.Emotions such as fear, hope, shame, guilt, or attachment influence the raw images.
This is where entanglement becomes powerful:One emotional state influences multiple health images. For example, stress intensifies pain; fear amplifies symptoms.

Role:
Raag shapes the emotional meaning of health.

4.Saraswat Layer — Wisdom, Insight & Holistic Integration: Highest and most subtle layer of consciousness.Health images arriving here become integrated, reflective, and meaningful. This layer provides:
Insight,Acceptance,Wisdom-based decision-making,Inner clarity and peace.

Role:
Saraswat transforms health images into adaptive understanding, promoting healing.

Quantum Entanglement in Health Experience

A hallmark of this model is the concept of entanglement:Health images are interconnected; changing one image changes the others.Emotional quanta (from Raag) entangle with physical quanta (from Murta).
Wisdom quanta (from Saraswat) can reorganize negative images and reduce distress.
Example:A negative health report (Murta) entangles with fear (Raag), which intensifies pain or anxiety.Through Saraswat activation, the same image transforms into acceptance and adaptive coping.

Flow of Consciousness: Murta → Raag → Saraswat

The model emphasizes a dynamic upward flow:
Murta (raw physical image)
Raag (emotional interpretation)
Saraswat (insightful meaning)

At each stage, the health image becomes:
Lighter, More abstract, More integrated,
Less distressing, Therapeutic work aims to lift images upward to reach clarity and healing.

Applications

The model has been applied to:
Chronic illnesses (Diabetes, CKD)
Stress and anxiety regulation
Pain perception
Behaviour change
Psychosomatic disorders
Therapeutic counselling
Safety & Disaster Psychometrics
Music therapy (Rabindra Sangeet reorganizing quanta)
