About the trust:  It is a higher learning virtual research institute aiming at educating students about research for the welfare of the larger community through online and blended education. International students are welcome here. The trust regularly inviting applications for various courses. Both Internal and External Faculties are teaching here. The trust has more than 500 students.

Recent Achievements & Recognition
RPRIT is the registered vendor for Tata Power in psychometric assessment.  RPRIT has a strong track record of mentoring undergraduate students through research internships. In 2024, RPRIT offered research internships to 11 undergraduate students from Maharaja Manindra Chandra College on psychometric data analysis and 13 students from the department of applied psychology of the University of Calcutta. RPRIT received appreciation letters from these institutions in recognition of its contribution to student research and skill development.

Additionally, RPRIT is proud to announce the publication of a book on statistics, developed in collaboration with Acharya Bangalore B-School (ABBS), Bangalore. This initiative brings together esteemed scholars, including Dutta Roy Sir, President of RPRIT, along with Prof. Naresh Babu and Dr. Sharma from ABBS. This collaboration reflects RPRIT’s commitment to advancing statistical knowledge and its practical applications in research and analysis.

About Training

The training integrates Jamovi’s simplicity with R’s versatility. Participants will learn to:

  1. Summarize data (categorical, numerical, and rank).

  2. Apply inferential statistics such as Chi-square, t-tests, ANOVA, and Kruskal–Wallis.

  3. Visualize data effectively using Jamovi and R plotting functions.

  4. Work with measurement scales and formulate/test hypotheses.

  5. Import and export data across software environments.

Objective of course

This 60-hour capacity building training aims to disseminate knowledge of statistical tools and techniques using the Jamovi software and its R Script. Students scoring above 90% will be awarded RPRIT Mentorship status and promoted to guide mentees under the RPRIT mentorship training program.
