Course	Rabindrasangeet: Insight Into Music Therapy (level- A)
Objectives	▪ This course aims to train the participants to develop their knowledge of music therapy concepts and applications. ▪ To learn basic knowledge of human potentials and development. ▪ To learn how to improve personal growth through self-assessment.
Eligibility	▪ Essential: Graduate, post graduate and research scholars in any discipline from recognized university with musical knowledge. ▪ Desirable: Degree/certificate in Rabindrasangeet

Syllabus	1. Theory :  1.1 রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের সঙ্গীতদর্শন Rabindranath Tagore's philosophy of music 1.2 রবীন্দ্রসঙ্গীতে রূপক ও চিত্রকল্পের ব্যবহার   Metaphor and Imagery in Rabindrasangeet 1.3 Music perception and Cognition.         1.3.1 Music and its impact on brain   1.4 Music and psychological foundations        1.4.1 Theories of consciousness         1.4.2  Behavioral theories   1.5 Conceptual framework in establishing a relationship between Rabindrasangeet and Psychotherapy through case studies 1.6 Intervention of Rabindrasangeet therapy in depression and anxiety   1.7 সাংগীতিক ধ্বনি সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান      Knowledge of musical acoustics     2. Practical: 2.1 Practical demonstration of lessons learned in theory section and general knowledge about Thaats and following Ragaas with reference to Rabindrasangeet: Behag, Bhairabi, Kafi, Kedar, Todi, Purvi, Desh.
