*Research Internship in Forensic Psychology*
*Organized by*: Rabindrik Psychotherapy Research Institute Trust, non-profit oriented academic trust, registered by the Indian Trust Act, 1882 engaged in dissemination of research based course. 
*About the course*: Forensic psychology is the use of psychological practices and principles and applying them to the legal system, mainly in court. It is evident that there is a dearth of systematic research in India on Competency to stand trial. The Court ruled "the test must be whether the defendant has sufficient present ability to consult with his attorney with a reasonable degree of rational understanding and a rational as well as factual understanding of proceedings against him.
Hence, the institute offers this research internship course.
*Course topics:* (a) familiarizing review of literature in forensic psychology, (b) understanding psychological tests and Psychometrics about Competency to stand trial. 
*Scope* : After the course, participants will be able apply the knowledge in teaching, research and in one's own profession. Candidate may (a)publish Research paper in peer review journal and (b) facilitate the course through outreach program as National Webinar of the Institute. 
*Resource persons*: Institute has Forensic Psychology course. Teachers are attached with National forensic University. Besides senior faculty will be invited to teach few classes. 
*Important dates*: 1st December, 2021- Class starts; 31st January, 2022-Class ends.
*Duration* : 2-months.
*Eligibility* : NET qualified in Forensic Psychology or Clinical Psychology. PG qualified Candidates with first class from reputed organization may apply.
*Registration fee* : Non-refundable Rs.6000. It will be used for tuition fees and development of Institute infrastructure. 
*Pedagogy:* Interactions on Zoom/Google meet with blended learning. Google classroom will be used for notes and grading. Classes will be held twice for one hour per week.
